Fan Art By : VerehinI just finished a rush corporate job. (that’s where they keep the money I’ve found). Every time I finish one of these jobs I feel the need to draw something I want to draw. I was reading a review of The Dark Knight and I got inspired to draw Heath Ledger’s version of the The Joker.
Although, I’m still very sad about Heath. He was an amazing actor. I’m an actor as well and it’s just well, unhappy… I saw the The Dark Knight today. I really liked it. Ledger was incredible as the Joker. Probably closer than anything I’ve seen as far as a characterization of the Joker goes. Ledger really captured the essence of the thing. He kind of played my ideal of him. Or at least how I saw it in my head. No green hair though? I like the green hair.

Something I did mainly for inking practice. Im trying to train myself to use different variations of line weight. The closer someting is to the viewer the thicker the line weight the farther something is in the background the thinner it is etc etc. I was pretty happy with the turn out and decided to throw in some greys to finish the piece and to show some sort of form. Anyhoo i hope this pleases all you Joker lovers out there.

Heath Ledger as the Joker. What an incredible performance, I’m not sure it can ever be topped. This was a commission for a Belgian collector. Thanks Steve, a challenging piece to do, but one that was absolutely worth the effort.

Although i have never really been a ‘consistent’ comic reader, i pretty much grew up as a batman child. when i was a kid i had batman shoes, pajamas and sheets, i was raised watching the cartoons, playing with the action figures, dressing up as batman for halloween, building the lego batman sets… etc. batman helped me learn how to read since some of the first picture books i ever got were about batman. batman forever was even the first movie i can remember seeing (although i was a bit too young for it when it came out). you name it, and iv probably done it.
even as a young adult, im still a huge fan of modern batman adaptations. Batman Begins and The Dark Knights are the two of the maybe 7 or 8 movies i have on my computers, and regrettably the only couple that i am actually willing to watch more than once. therefore, when the internet in my dorm is down for long periods of time (sometimes up to a week) i find myself doodling on photoshop with a movie going in the background. the result was this picture.
historically, iv always adored the batman villains more than any other fictional characters, even ones that i have designed myself, and of course, without a doubt the joker is the greatest villain of all time. i have recently played Batman: Arkham Asylum over winter break, and i took a bit of that joker’s design and mixed it with some heath ledger elements, and then added a few touches of my own.
Total work time was approx 2 hours, 100% in adobe photoshop. done in one sitting.

They both are awesome representations of the villain joker
But this one right here is from Batman/arkham city ( that im playing right now ,and its a mind blowing game i recommend it to everyone )
Back to my point , he is the true joker because the voice actor is Mark Hamill, and he was giving the voice to the joker since i can remember.
He really give the joker the edge with his voice. + the game writers are the same who created some of the old batman cartoons
Well yeah , so here is my painting… i used a loot of time to make this guy.Hope you like it

The Joker: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We are tonight’s entertainment! I only have one question. Where is Harvey Dent?
[nobody responds; The Joker walks around the room pointing with his shotgun at everyone]
The Joker: You know where Harvey is? You know who he is?
[grabs a man's face]
The Joker: You know where I can find Harvey? I need to talk to him about something. Just something, a little.
[turns the man's face away]
The Joker: No…
Gahhh he did such an awesome job as the joker!! i miss this guy! so young….it makes you think :/

While I was watching the first episode of “The Batman”, I was impressed by the quality of the design and animation of the Joker in that particular series. He’s totally adorable and a friggin badass. I want to learn to draw in that style! Do you think it’s difficult? T_T
This is a sort of speedpaint of a mix between TDK and The Batman’s Joker, with that sort of weird straitjacket that he’s wearing in the first episode. Don’t ask why.

“Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
I finally saw The Dark Knight this summer, an absolutely spectacular film, and I got this idea to draw the Joker while I watched it a second time with Deepsies. I wanted to show his quirky and wild nature while surrounded by chaos. I hope I did him justice!
I loved Heath Ledger’s make-up in the movie, the grunge-like paint looked great in any condition and I really wanted to keep that kind of grainy dirt in this, so I avoided adding too much detail and tried to keep it a little like an oil painting with lots of texture.
The joker cards and backs were not drawn by me, but I scanned them from a couple of decks I have and individually distorted, burned, ripped, scorched, and lit them to merge with my picture. This was also the first time I’ve painted fire, which didn’t turn out too bad lol!

i spent around 5 hours on this one in Photoshop from sketching to adding simple colours and tonings. I’m gonna draw a few more detailed drawings for Joker, Batman, 2 faced and Bruce Wayne after this.

First of all I have to say that it was a pleasure to work on this! A great visionary filmmaker has finally pulled it off and made The Dark Knight how he always should have been!
I know a lot of people have painted Heath Ledger as “The Joker” recently, but I really see why!!! From the gorgeous make-up-design to the top-notch acting he is “The Joker”. Too bad this young talented actor passed away at such a young age … RIP Heath Ledger!
I am very pleased with the end-result and hope you like it too!

This is an expression of the Joker captured in the Dark Knight movie before his head gets smacked on the table by Batman.
Again this is a tribute to the great Heath Ledger who passed away and he was proven innocent on taking illegal drugs so people who do not know the facts please stop making gossips and rumours about the great actor who should be honoured and respected.
He looks like he is thinking about something in this picture thats why i named the title this way.
This is a close up of Joker’s face from one of my previous drawings but i have done some touch ups and editing and added in a little more details. it was all drawn and edited in photoshop. hope u’all like it

I’d wanted to do something with the brilliant Joker from The dark Knight for a while now, but I didn’t, for obvious reasons…
Anyway, how could I ever draw a Joker without colour so I decided to use charcoal and coloured pencils… It was hell, I can tell you! and there are pieces of paper where I used so many layers it was starting to flake…
It all ended well, thankfully and I’ll probably use colour in my charcoal drawings again sometime

And once more, here you go – it’s my third attempt at doing a portrait. I’m going to have to give credit to my friend *DeVmarine for the idea of the Joker.
It was done a lot quicker than Snape (only about 5 hours) and I suppose it was also a lot easier to draw. I kind of cut the top half of his head off, because the original was in landscape view without the top, and I couldn’t be bothered putting it in.
It’s again, done on A3 paper, but with B pencil, and I decided to hybrid in a little colour to the lips. Thanks to ~I-Am-Mustang for the idea. And big kudos to Heath Ledger for this darling image.

I hope this lives up to his expectations because I freakin love the Joker.
Well, I love Mark Hamill’s Joker. Back in the day, if I had met Mark Hamill I would’ve been like “zOMG Luke Skywalker.” Nowadays, I’d be like “zOMG The Joker!”
I don’t expect this to be as well recieved as my cheesecake work, but at least this shows that I’ll do work other than cheesecake.

Friday night, I watched the film and I had to do something. I just loved everything! I was expecting a good action movie, but this one has something deeper. It’s not about a hero and a rioter. They are on another level that makes you think about your own behavior.
There are a lot of things to talk about, but go see The Dark Knight, and discover by yourself.
Of course, the soundtrack is AMAZING! Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard are gods!
I spent my Sunday doing this. It started as a sketch but I added more shading and ended up being something “dirty”. The reference picture had a poor quality, but I like the way it turned out.
Hope you like it too!

So I really liked the movie and the joker… SO . like everyone else, I wanted to do a picture of him.
I used various references to get what I wanted, drew the background buildings without ref, except for the lights which were inspired from some shots from the film, you’ll probably recognise
Took much longer than I intended, but everything seems to!

I drew this picture back in December 2007. I saw a photo online of Heath Ledger as The Joker in the upcoming Batman The Dark Knight. ( Batman, Joker, ect. are copyrighted and property of DC Comics, Warner Bros., ect. ) I’d never been as excited for a movie before. I had to draw this picture and I wanted to give it to my friend as a Christmas present. I used black prismacolor pencils. I took my time drawing it over a few days. I hope you enjoy it. If anyone would like a copy or print of my drawing, please let me know.- Charlie

This is a still of the Joker threatening Rachel in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Painted from an image I found somewhere on’tinternet.
I have to say, I wasn’t hugely impressed with the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the beginning, but frankly he’s grown on me and now I can’t wait to see what he does with the character. I reckon he’ll do a cracking job.

This piece was actually finished 2 days ago, but lately I just love to hold on to a finished work for a while before I post them to the public. Somehow it helps ease me to the next project, like running without stopping. Anyway, enough about that…
So, as you can see it’s another fan art of The Dark Knight which I’m sure a lot of people are tired of seeing by now lol. We know how stale things can be when they get too popular. But personally for me this is something I needed to do for myself. The movie exceeded my expectations. It’s a true masterpiece. Quite possibly the best new film I’ve seen in a long time, and that’s no joke.
Normally when I do a fanart I would prefer to deviate from my source a little, especially where faces are concerned so that it reflects my personal tastes. But with such a memorable villain as the Joker I could do nothing else but to try and stay true to his movie appearance. But I also took this opportunity to paint the Batman as well because he’s such a powerful icon.
I’ll stop here right now and just let you look at the picture. I know it’s nothing spectacular but I really hope I managed to do them justice at least.

Yes. It’s Hiddles. And it’s the Joker. Your mind has just been fucked. Aaand now it’s pregnant. AAANDD I’m the godmother. Hullyus.
It’s a well known fact to all my friends that I will direct the next Batman movies, but it’s only recently come to light in the past few months who shall be playing Batman’s arch-nemisis the Joker – Tom Hiddleston. Yes, it is true. And it will be very homoerotic. Give me all your money.
Sorry for the major suck *insert excuse here* *insert promise to get better* *insert vow to learn colour theory* *insert vow to learn what the hell ‘colour theory’ means anyway*
And those are Tom’s hands. I could not take imposter hands. Because his hands are beautiful, and imposter’s hands drawn instead would be like – like – that gif of Loki being sad. So I didn’t do it man.
Eh. Why are his nails black. Eh. Harley got bored.
Was going to put this in fanart, but it’s like a fanart of like so many things so I just put it in digital portraits instead if that’s alright.
