Here my wolverine!
The goal was at the base to work only on the character for trainning me, but the complex history of wolverine pushed me to create an illustration. However the message is simple, which is the beast here?
In front of or behind the image?
Ok for the little story, the big goal here was to have fun by make my own Wolverine in a comic’s style and respecting the character.

Made for the Comicon Challenge. The topic was to recreate your favorite comic book character in full 3D. I choose Wolverine

I started off using zbrush for the highpoly, then maya w/NEX Plugin for retopology and rigging/posing. Then 3DSMax for normal map baking and rendering. Crazybump was used for fine details in the normal map and finally Photoshop was used for presentation and texture work

This is a personal project. I always wanted to create my version of Wolverine, so here it is. The project was pending from quite some time and i was on and off this project, I finally managed to finish it. I started of with the project in softimage then later decided to switch to 3dsMax as i wanted to do the final rendering in Vray. Hope you guys likes it.

Caricature. In this work I’ve used spirals lines to turn the caricature a little more childish, making a joke with the Wolverine look and his personality. I had a hard work to finish the hair and the skin texture. Took about 25 hours, from sketch to final paint.

i really love x man, i really want to have a big poster in my studio from him,but can’t find one which i really like it, finaly i have decide to make my own poster, the size 5k.
i did with photoshop and wacom intuos 3.

And also yay for all the clichés I managed to put into one picture.x3 Badass Marvel hero in front of a fire and an evil moon, it can’t really go any more cliché. = D but I don’t care, I really wanted to do that and I also felt a horrible urge to try something in western comic style.
I gotta admit, that the western style gives me a little more freedom than manga, so I might try a little more of this style in the future.

Well, I never thought I would finish Logan this fast after the death of my lovely dog, but drawing this really helped me these last few days. There’s no need to tell much about Logan I think or is it?. He is dedicated to all the wolverine-fans out there, especially to [radical jojo]. Hope you like my version of him. What a hardcore! Good old Wolverine..
I just couldn’t help myself but to make a pic on this awesome movie, It shows in cinema’s on Wednesday and I just got so pumped for it! Had to let of some steam haha!
This pic was really fun to make, and I didn’t take too long either, around 10 hours
The puddle of blood was kinda new to me, I haven’t really done water like this before.. I wanted to make it see-through while also keeping reflections..
